Please Note: DIY carries a healthy supply of rentals, but even we can have all tools checked out. Please check with a DIY representative as to the tool rental schedule prior to scheduling time for your installation.

Not all households have a fully stocked tool chest and DIY understands. That's why DIY carries top of the line hammer drills and drill bits, perfect to get the job done right. Buying these tools in a hardware store can easily cost over $300, but DIY is renting them to their customers for only $35 for one weekend.

Each rental comes with a pre-paid return label included in the box for return of the rental. Rental periods begin the day of receipt of the rental from UPS and lasts through the immediately following weekend.

Drill & Bit Rental F.A.Q.s

• How good is the drill you rent?
  One of the best you can find. We use Bosch Bulldog SDS Rotary Hammer Drills.
• Is the bit that accompanies the drill new?
  It will either be new or freshly sharpened. You will be able to tell it has just been sharpened because it will have a wax cover over the tip.
• How do I know the bit will be sharpened well?
  It doesn't make sense for us to send out drills without sharp bits because we have a lot to lose if they are not. The drills are fairly expensive and the customer is just renting it, we still need it back in good condition. If we send out a dull bit, this will over work the motor of the drill and destroy it.
• How long is the rental for?
  The rental is for one weekend after all fencing materials and rental tools are received.
• How do I return my rental?
  Every rental comes with a Pre-Paid UPS label for return. Take the label from inside the box and put it on the outside, then either visit a UPS store or call UPS for a pick up.
• I am buying my fence now but want to delay tool rental, how should I let you know?
  After placing the order call in or e-mail us (matt@diypoolfence.com) to let us know. Don't wait too long though, we try to get everything out as quickly as possible.
